Avalanche photodiodes provide higher sensitivity than standard photodiodes. They are ideal for extreme low-level detection and photon counting.

PerkinElmer offers a broad range of Silicon and InGaAs PIN and APDs, providing detection from 220 nm to 1700nm. These devices are offered in a variety of sizes to meet customer sensitivity and speed requirements.
